We spent the past weekend at the Fort Washington Marina, with members of several PRYCA clubs. We arrived Friday night, enjoyed the potluck dinner, and luckily made it back to our boat before the storms started--lightning crackled, thunder roared and the wind howled for almost four hours! I sat on the deck with my sunglasses on, it was that bright outside.
Saturday's weather was just fine--a little breezy, a little cloudy, not too hot. Saturday was also the day of the PRYCA cup competition--cardboard-boat building, decorating, and racing; blindfolded dinghy racing, bosun skills competition, scavenger hunt, and navigation skills test. Our club participated in all the events. The day was capped off with a catered dinner, the trophy award, door prizes, and dancing under the tent.
We cruised back to our marina early Sunday afternoon, to avoid the late afternoon storms that were starting to rear their heads. We weren't home for very long before a hailstorm hit, so we were glad we left early!

I took a few pictures on Saturday night. I hadn't planned to, so unfortunately, with a low battery, and low storage space, I didn't get many pictures, and they didn't come out as well as I would've liked.
